Around May 1916 The Bystander published the first set of six Fragments from France postcards. Priced 6d they came in their own envelope incorporating a BB drawing, and the announcement that “further series of post cards will be issued monthly.” In all nine sets of cards were issued, each comprising six sepia cards in their own illustrated envelope. All 54 postcards and their envelopes are shown on this page.
