Fragments from France prints

The first Bairnsfather merchandise to be produced by The Bystander was this folio of twelve colour prints of Fragments from France cartoons, issued in January 1916. The prints, on plate sunk mounts measuring 9¾” x 14¾”, featured the cartoons which the magazine had received most requests for reproductions of, from its readers. These were:
