Bruce Bairnsfather - the Later Years

After the end of the Second World War Bruce Bairnsfather undertook three post-war lecture tours of America and Canada, the last in 1950, but the greater part of his time was spent living quietly, away from the public eye, painting landscapes, and undertaking work on the succession of cottages in Sussex and Worcestershire, where he made his home during the last decade or so of his life.
In this section of the website you can find links to some of the work he did post-WW2.
